Allred of Spring City, Utah preferred medium is
watercolor. He paints the landscapes that he sees
from his home studio, and from his travels. Most
recently, he has returned from serving a mission
for the LDS church in Sweden, were he also
painted. Mr. Allred attended Snow College, BYU and Utah State. He received his MFA from Utah State University in 1968. A professor of art, he retired from Snow College in 2000. He has exhibited nationally and internationally. He has exhibited in Missouri, Texas, California, Utah New York, Sweden, France and Taiwan. His work is in private and public collections throughout the Western United States and Sweden most notably The Springfield Museum in Springfield, Missouri, and the Springville Museum in Springville, Utah. |
